FAQ

Frequently AskedQuestions

Everything you need to know about your surf adventure in Morocco

SURF EXPERIENCE

Surf Experience

Is Taghazout suitable for beginners?

Yes. Taghazout and Aourir have many great spots for beginners. We check every day which spot suits your level best, so you often surf different breaks in one week. Our coaches make sure you learn quickly and get the most out of every session.

What is the best time of year to surf in Morocco?

October to April is the main season, with consistent northwest swells and strong conditions at spots like Anchor Point. From May to September, the waves are often smaller and friendlier, which is ideal for beginners.

Are you open year-round and when is the best time to come?

Yes, our surf camp runs year-round. The best period depends on your level: in winter the swells are stronger and more consistent, while spring and summer are often nicer for beginners. Whatever time you choose, the combination of sun, culture and surf makes every trip special.

How big are the surf groups?

We deliberately keep our groups small so everyone gets personal attention and safe guidance in the water. If a group gets larger, we bring in extra coaches.

I have never surfed before. Can I still join?

Absolutely. We give daily lessons to complete beginners and build up gradually with clear instruction, safety focus and personal feedback.

I am already an experienced surfer. Is this camp for me too?

Definitely. Experienced surfers also book with us for targeted coaching, local spot knowledge and daily spot selection based on the forecast.
